Lloyds are a very positive funder to work with. They are accessible and do not ask for lots of unnecessary monitoring and reporting. I can contact the grant officer over the phone for advice. They fund core costs where they can see you have a valuable service. Great funder.

I do think if there was some way to spend more time talking to the people at the foundation beforehand, then we could make our point more than just via written words. It's competitive enough and I empathise with time constraints, but written applications alone just don't favour small charities like us
