Quick easy application. Support from funder easily sought when needed help. Quick decision and funds paid quickly and efficiently to grantee. Gave extra up to their maximum allowance to enhance the grant for the grantee as they knew he needed something more.

Assesses applications in a very short time and gives decision far quicker than other charities I have applied to. Payment made very quickly too.

Friendly, accessible, seem to want you to succeed. Ask their advice well in advance. Don’t just submit an application cold.

Absolutely crucial to talk to the key people at the 2 Ridings Foundation, and, ideally, to attend one of the invaluable funding seminars. Check eligibility very carefully, but even more importantly match submission to the objectives of the fund.

The funding seminar was extremely helpful, and was then backed up with personalised advice that was provided without in any way raising expectations
