We have a history of supporting high potential UK non-profits which make a difference in low income countries. We take an engaged approach, as a proactive funder.

In recent years, Joffe Trust has moved towards a very specific campaigning agenda and only funds orgs or campaigns that are very aligned with its political goals - they tend to support quite a 'closed club'

If you had one piece of advice to give to this funder (about grantmaking or anything else), what would it be?
Your work on financial services is very clearly articulated and it is clear that you have made a choice about which organisations achieve your goals in this space. Personally, I think you've limited the impact you can make by prioritising the most politically active, campaigning organisations. The work on strengthening high potential non-profit organisations is esoteric/ opaque.
