We are a specialist grant-maker. We mainly support work to strengthen financial integrity in the UK and tackle the UK’s dirty money problem. We have a history of supporting high potential UK non-profits which make a difference in low income countries. We take an engaged approach, as a proactive funder.

I think a recent narrowing of Joffe's focus makes sense - it has limited resources so shouldn't spread itself too thin. It has a clear focus and is making a significant contribution to its stated goals.

If you had one piece of advice to give to this funder (about grantmaking or anything else), what would it be?
Keep doing what you're doing, and keep the (written) reporting requirements light. Better to connect regularly on the phone, than to submit endless reports, in my opinion.

Be very open with them, and honest about your needs. They are very good at listening, are very understanding and want to help. As well as funding they provide excellent advice.
